First floor of the same building was vacant while we checked in. May be month later a young mallu couple checked into first floor. Aunty was very particular that she would let out the house only to Malayalies. To talk about this couples the husbands name was Vinod from Trichur in Kerala and his wife Mridulla was from Ottapalam . Vinods age, then was around 32 and Mridullas age around 24 ,issue less couple . If you would of heard of the place called Ottapalam in Kerala, they say this place have the most beautiful girls and ladies across the state . Never the less Mridulla was also the same ,

Both of them working , Mridulla was working for a courier company as accounts assistant and her husband was working for a Shipping company. As far as I understand her husbands company was not doing that well , went into losses , salary used to come very late or even once in two months.

Initially we could hardly get close to this couple as both of them would leave the house at 9 AM in the morning and come back together around 7 PM . Slowly we started meeting Vinod in the common area in the compound and became very close to each other . Off late even Mridulla started talking to us and became very close to us. I never had a wrong view about this beautiful lady, until that particular day when we had a water problem and she had to come down to take water from the well. In the mean time Vinod also informed me that they were blessed with a baby girl.

Almost year and a half later , I got a chance to visit Kerala , my home town being in Tiruvalla. All the trains pass via Cochin and on my way back I booked my tickets from Cochin instead of Tiruvalla and thought shall visit Mridulla and Vinod on my way back to Bangalore. They were still staying in trichur and working in Cochin . On the day I visited Cochin, Vinod was on a official trip to Chennai. So I called up Mridulla and visited her in her office . By around 12 Noon , she was also very delighted to see me after a long time . We had lunch together and I convinced her to travel back to Trichur in Island express that I was traveling to Bangalore . So both of us boarded the train from Cochin and started chatting about all old things in Bangalore . So I was asked to accompany Nirmala aunty when ever Vinod had night shifts.

It was now almost weekly thrice that I had spend nights in their hose . Vinod generally had two shifts one starting from 8 AM in the morning to 8 PM in the night and the other from 8PM to 8 AM . And he takes almost one and a half hrs to travel as the airport was almost 45 Kms from the place we stay.

I used to come back from office at around 7:30 PM and go Vinods place after taking a bath and stay back there if Vinod had a night shift , or return to my place after my dinner. This was a regular practice now. I really enjoyed the company of Nirmala Aunty also, we used to chat for long hours about various topics but never had the courage to tell her my feelings for her .
